Knoxville, TN - Pellissippi State suffered a loss at the hands of the Southwest Tennesee Saluqis on Friday night 2-1.
The Saluqis took the early lead with a goal in the 7th minute. The Panthers would respond in the 35th minute with a goal of their own, scored by Sade Lee. The match would go into the half knotted up at one each. Five minutes into the second half, Southwest Tennesee would score their second goal of the afternoon to take the 2-1 lead, and that would prove to be the difference in the match. Despite outshooting the Saluquis 11-4, the Panthers couldn't quite get in their rhythm and strike to tie it up.
