Panther's Volleyball Wins the TCCAA Championship
The Pellissippi State women’s volleyball team traveled to Morristown, TN to meet the Cleveland State Cougars in the TCAA region championship on Saturday Nov. 1, winning the first conference title in the program’s history.
Just a few short years after the programs founding the Pellissippi State Panthers have reached the peak of the TCCAA.
The Panthers swept both Roane State and Chattanooga State to secure their spot in the region tournament final, closing out a stellar late-season run where they finished 8-3 in October including the postseason. Following two losses to an undefeated in conference play Cleveland State in the regular season, the Panthers got their revenge with a 3-1 statement win in the conference final. With the win, Pellissippi State earned a spot to host Fayetteville Tech CC @ 3pm on Friday, November 7th in the Southeast District B game. A win would send the Panthers volleyball team to nationals for the first time in program history.
